Only students with matriculation/O level with science subjects can get admission in FSc premedical. Candidate must have biology subject in matriculation with physics and chemistry. As students with Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science can not get admission in F.Sc Premedical. Merit varies from one institute to other.

Many private colleges give admission without any merit which is not recommended as if you don’t have good marks in matriculation then you should try for some other field like I.C.S, I.Com or FA. You can not appear in F.Sc exams as a private candidate but you can join this program through distance learning in AIOU. In AIOU F.Sc Pre-Medical is a 4 semester program with 8 credit hours. In Sindh province F.Sc Pre-Medical is also taught in Urdu.

Some years ago very limited options were available after FSc premedical in Pakistan. But now the scenario has changed a lot. If you could not get admission in MBBS or BDS still there are many options for you for further study such as D Pharm, DPT, M.B.B.S from China, D.V.M, B Pharmacy B.H.M.S, B.U.M.S.BS Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Biotechnology (BBT).
