NTS National Testing Service commence the GAT Test every year, But the Question is that what is GAT Test and what its For GAT is the Graduate Assessment Test and it has three type; one is GAT General Test second is GAT Subject Test and third is GAT Law test. The same test may be used for recruitment of graduates. Subject test helps to evaluate, analyze, solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material in a specific area of study. The test result will remain valid for two years for admissions. Candidates with a minimum of eighteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test. Candidate intending to improve their previous GAT score can also apply.

Pakistan Bar Council PBC  has assigned the NTS to commence their evaluation test for the Advocate to practice law. It is Under the Pakistan Legal Practitioners & Bar Councils Rules, 1976 a law graduate desirous of seeking enrollment as an Advocate to practice law, is required to pass an Assessment Test, for being eligible to apply to a Bar Council for that purpose. GAT LAW test rule were created by the Pakistan Bar Council PBC 43 years ago but its implementations are operational recently.

The Pakistan Bar Council PBC has, therefore, assigned National Testing Service NTS the responsibility to conduct Law Graduate Assessment Test LAW-GAT.

Eligibility Criteria

• Persons having passed LL.B final year examination from a University recognized by Pakistan Bar Council.
• Minimum Qualification must be Seventeen years.
• Only LAW Graduates are eligible to apply.
• Students awaiting result are not eligible to apply.
• 50% score is required to qualify the assessment test.
