What is LAW Admission Test?
The LAT test is administered by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for students who wish to enroll in the undergraduate 5-year LLB program. LAT stands for Law Entrance Test. The test is mandatory for students to get admission after passing HEC LAT with maximum marks. Through this test, the authorities analyze the skills and abilities of the candidates who want to enter the field of law. At the direction of the Honorable Supreme Court, the examination is conducted for students who are interested in pursuing their careers as lawyers, attorneys, consultants, and judges.

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has started registration for the HEC LAT test. It will be held in September. Online HEC LAT Registration
Anyone who wants to become a lawyer must enroll in a 05-year LLB program. The Court of Pakistan has now ruled that the HEC law entrance test is mandatory for law students. Following the directions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission has started. Eligibility criteria
The students who have completed the intermediate/ equivalent study program are eligible to apply in the LAT test HEC. The result awaiting candidates of higher secondary school certificate or equivalent /study program can take the admission test.

What is the validity of LAT test?
The Higher Education Commission conducts the law admission test three times a year and students can take any chance to appear in the test. Moreover, the test remains valid only for two years and after that, the students must again appear in the entrance test
Law Admission Test Result
Like every other exam, the LAT (Law Entrance Test) ends with an annual result. All students who pass LAT are admitted in various law institutes of Pakistan. These tests are performed under the supervision of HEC. The HEC is responsible for compiling the results of the annual Late Test 2 and, as in previous years, the HEC is going to announce the results of the LAT test in 30 to 40 days for the examination to be held in August.
