Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai University is an educational institution named after the famous Sufi saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai. The main campus of the Institute is located in Kahirpur, Sindh which is the land of saints and its campuses are also in Shikarpur, Shahdad Kot and Ghotki. The institute was established in 1976 and has been providing quality education services since its inception. The Institute Ghotki Campus was established to provide better educational opportunities to the people of Sukkur Division. The university is currently hosting about 8,000 students and the number is still growing. The main objective of the institute is to become a leading institute in Sindh and to provide the best facilities to its students. The Institute currently has seven faculties: Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Languages, Education and Law. The institute also has separate research centers.
